Professional Summary
Dr. Sachini graduated from the University of Colombo Sri Lanka, in 2016 and gained extensive experience in paediatrics, obstetrics, and gynaecology while working in Sri Lanka. After moving to Australia in 2018, she broadened her expertise through roles at Mackay Base Hospital in Queensland, as well as at Canberra Hospital and North Canberra Hospital, where she worked across a variety of medical, surgical, and critical care specialties.
She has completed the ACEM Emergency Medicine Certificate and continues to work in the Emergency Department at North Canberra Hospital.
Dr. Sachini is passionate about providing holistic, patient-centred care and enjoys supporting individuals and families through all stages of life. She is currently pursuing Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).
Outside of medicine, Dr. Sachini enjoys reading and travelling with her family.
